Just a few weeks ago, Hurricane Laura — one of most powerful storms to ever hit the U.S. — left terrible devastation across Louisiana and east Texas. Now Hurricane Sally is bringing life-threatening storm surge and flooding to parts of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.

The Red Cross has thousands of volunteers working tirelessly across the country to provide food, shelter, comfort and support to people in need.

You can help people affected by Hurricane Laura by using the link on this page to make a donation, or by visiting, calling 800-RED-CROSS or texting the word LAURA to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
